If I were an eagle
Why wouldn’t I
use my wings to soar the sky
How would I
know its vastness otherwise?
If I were a
whale
Why wouldn’t I
want to play in a real ocean
How would I
know its depth otherwise?
If I were a
majestic lion
Why wouldn’t I roar the jungle to its feet
How would I
know that I could be its king otherwise?
If I were made
a human
Why wouldn’t I
want to live a life its fullest potential-
to stretch my mind to the limit or even beyond;
to test
territories where few dare to enter ;
to see what is beyond physical eyes could see;
to see what is beyond physical eyes could see;
to try what is beyond the social norms could allow...
Why wouldn't
I?! How would I know otherwise
- the power of human mind?
-the
fearlessness of spirit?
- the
lessons and the blessings of being a human?
- and the
universal unity between the physical and the spiritual realm
between the
form and the formless ?...
Knowing
where my fingers stop
My energy can
travel further;
Knowing
where my mind stops
My spirit can
move further;
Knowing
where my heart stops
My soul can
journey further
Knowing
whomever I think I am
I CAN still be more…
